Christ Church Constantia’s Green Team would like to remind you that their second EcoFair will be held in the church hall on May 31st from 9am to 12.30pm. Please bring your family, friends and neighbours!
There is no charge and this is why you need to come:
They are hosting some old friends like WESSA, SAFCEI and Naturally Green cleaning products, and will be displaying the results of the Water and Energy Audit held at the church in August 2013 and the response of the church to reducing costs. They will also introduce you to folk who can advise you regarding modern lighting, featuring energy and money-saving options for your own home.
New exhibitors include Tshisa (hot water in a suitcase), the Spindel (efficient energy saving laundry spinner), The Carpenter’s Workshop (repurposed packaging pallets), Treetops Renewable energy systems, and parishioner Rob Ervine of SA Value Engineers who will showcase a repurposed aquaponics system and an exercise bicycle used to pump water.
Rob’s company adapts eco-principles to enable savings to hot water heating and running swimming pool filters.
Refreshments will be available.
The church is on the corner of Parish and Constantia Main Roads, Constantia
