The Green Times

Climate change is the most widespread & complex problem humanity has ever faced! There is no time to waste and we need to turn green talk into profound green action. This is the intention of the GREEN TIMES.

Our Intention

  • to inform, educate, inspire, motivate
  • to craft a can-do attitude
  • to illustrate that every drop counts – every move contributes. Every human action either destroys or builds this planet
  • to respond to the questions: Why would I change? What can I do? How do I do it? What difference would it make?
  • to dispel the myths on which apathy & ignorance rest
  • to show how the truth sets us free to thrive and so too our children and future generations
  • to wake up our readers to creative, fun and easy green living
  • to provide positive role models of those who are changing – how to live in sync with the earth ‘s carrying capacity by being creative & innovative
  • to find and tell the stories of those who lead by example, showing best or better practice models in domestic, business, spiritual, school & civilian lives
  • to transport green living from the fringe of our society to main stream – the new normal
  • to make green living affordable, easy, cool, hip, the ‘in’ thing to do – what everyone wants
  • to craft a culture of caring
  • to present sustainable living as the only rational way to live altruistically, thinking bigger than ourselves, honouring our hostess, the planet
  • to turn the ‘crisis’ into an ‘opportunity’
  • to honour and learn from each other, from any walk of life
  • to rediscover the ‘old’ ways in which humans lived sustainably on this planet until about 100 years ago, and to dress them in funky modern clothes
  • to grow up and focus on long-term consequences, the big picture, the survival of all the species – reverence for life
  • to have fun living healthy, creative and innovative lives
  • to share what we  learn with each other to escalate the development of a conscious and sustainable society
