Join this exciting Arbor Month pilgrimage and reforest project. We will leave from Woodbridge Island, Milnerton Cape Town on Arbor day 1st September and walk for two days (42km) along our magnificent shore line, spending a night together at accommodation in Melbosstrand.
The next day we walk through Koeberg Nature Reserve to Camphill Farm, where we sleep and eat communally in the school hall, sharing stories and visions of bringing the rain back to Africa.
We aim to plant 1008 trees at Camphill Farm, West Coast on 3 September, creating a forest for generations to enjoy. Come join in the pioneering fun. They will also have their monthly market in full swing, so there will be delicious treats to buy, and music to serenade us as we plant a future together.
To join the walk please email peacetreepilgrimage@gmail.com for details.
If you would like to gift a tree please do so here. Your gift will be planted at the Platbos Nature Reserve/Camphill Farm and any other trees will be allocated to specific green outreach projects.
