Labour Law & Statutory Compliance Course
August 6, 2015 @ 9:00 am - August 7, 2015 @ 4:00 pm
The one constant in employment and labour law in Kenya is change. And the reality is employment areas that were once relatively stable have become unsettled. This workshop is specifically designed for Human Resource Professionals and Management today. There are many employment and labour laws applicable to the business organization. “Ignorance of law is not a valid excuse”. One needs to comply with existing rules and regulations of labour laws to avoid the penal and long term consequences and generate transparency.
In the last few years there have been important judicial decisions dealing with issues such as dismissal, harassment, probation, reinstatement and the weight that employers must attach to traditional diagnoses.
Those in HR know what a challenge it is to keep up to date with judicial precedent and the expectations of employees, employers and the wider community. The objective of this workshop is to provide one with all the information they need to function effectively in an ever-changing area of law and the Kenyan employment environment. This workshop will further equip participants with the knowledge of the current Labour laws, thus enhancing better employment and labour relations, organizational efficiency, Industrial harmony, teamwork and productivity.
