Our country needs to learn how to facilitate truly transformational, deep dialogue aligned to the vision of healing our past and present in order to create a more empowered, active South African citizenship now and for the future.
I was part of the first training of facilitators and now you can also become part of a pioneering group of citizens – empowered to ignite transformational dialogue in South Africa…
“No-Name Initiative” (NNI) was launched in South Africa as a non-profit initiative to create true dialogue in families, communities, towns, countries, across cultures, religions, political beliefs and over and beyond personal perspectives. A mixture of dialogue, process work and coaching principles is used to facilitate a group process around any difficult/pressing topic the group/community/company needs to address.
No issue or topic is taboo. In the context of South Africa’s history the NNI has the potential to serve as a medium for more healing of our past and present, as well as to create the space for dreaming and nation building looking towards the future. Most importantly, we need to dialogue in a safe facilitated space that
allows even the most ‘contentious voices’ to be heard and processed.
The bottom line is: we need deep dialogue.
Founder of the NNI, Jonelle Naude , first introduced her research at the Rainbow Convention of the Global Coaching Community (2011) which provided insight into how best to overcome unresolved issues that prevent people from taking a stand on matters that are holding them back. A key element of NNI is the dialogue process, which provides us with a platform to express, listen and witness in a way that accesses the individual’s and group’s underlying emotional field, allows it to ‘come out and be heard’ and consequently shifts its energy.
Dates: 23-27 November (Wednesday-Sunday)
Time: 9:30 – 18:00 each day
Venue: TBC Cape Town
By attending this training you commit yourself to running one NNI facilitation session per month for over a 12 month period (OR 12 OVER 2 YEARS). You will initiate, host and facilitate these dialogues in your homes, schools, places of work, worship, community gatherings, or any other area you have identified in your application form. You will also need to participate in a supervision group call every 2 months (at no cost) to hone your skills and learn as you proceed on your NNI journey.
To have NNI Facilitator training remain as inclusive as possible in SA, we only charge R2500 per person for this 5day intensive training. This training is made available for NNI Ignite at this discount price (which is less than 1⁄4 of the international equivalent of this course) by NNI Dialogue Institute. In addition, if you have personal trouble paying this fee, please request to apply for a scholarship. The full amount is payable to book your place on the training.
If you feel called to make a difference and want to contribute to co-creating a healthier country – this initiative is for you. The time for all of us to become more empowered and active citizens is now! South Africa is waking up to the importance of dialogue, but we also need to know HOW to dialogue to facilitate healing and transformation – and not just dialogue to perpetuate the same energy. This is a unique opportunity to learn how to facilitate a process that evokes processing of the emotional material in our South African consciousness, and helps co-create our South African-ness going forward!
