The Landfill and Waste Treatment Interest Group KZN Branch will host the IWMSA’s landfill webinar and exhibition.
The IWMSA understands that the traditional focus on landfill, whilst essential, must be complemented with alternative waste management solutions to form an “Integrated Waste Management Facility.”
A virtual event brings with it many new and exciting opportunities. This virtual Seminar and Exhibition will be accessible to all in Southern Africa and abroad, allowing the whole Landfill and Waste Management Industry to participate and contribute. With no travel and accommodation costs, attending this high-value, low-cost seminar will be easier than before!
The organisers will ensure delivery of an unforgettable event with outstanding content while providing many opportunities for attendees to make meaningful connections with sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and other attendees.
Given the suite of waste management legislation that government has instituted, the theme adopted for the 2021 seminar is “Waste Management Facilities – Have we Reached Our Destination?”
Who should participate?
Although the event typically attracts 120-150 delegates, more than 200 are expected to join the virtual seminar. Delegates will include decision makers and influencers involved in the design and operation of integrated waste management facilities.
This seminar will provide a virtual technical forum for a gathering of leading experts, including scientists, landfill operators, company owners, municipal entities, government authorities, and other professionals interested in the science of waste management.
