Imagine making your garden honeybee and chameleon friendly?
The secret is in growing plants that will attract and feed them and with the theme of “Nurturing Chameleons and Nourishing Honey Bees” this year’s BotSoc Kirstenbosch Plant Fair offers a wide variety of events.
To say that it will be a hive of activity is certainly an understatement, so make a date in your gardening calendar for this very popular event which will run on Saturday 12 April from 9 am until 4 pm and Sunday 13 April from 9 am until 1 pm.
The annual plant fair is a fundraising event to help support Kirstenbosch Gardens’ ongoing developments, as well as environmental education initiatives. Celebrating a successful 39 years as one of the most sought after plant fairs to attend, this year the format has changed significantly with a wide range of activities and events for every plant-loving person in Cape Town.
The event will take place at the Stone Cottages, Kirstenbosch Drive, Newlands. Don’t miss out.
