Following the brutal murder of the ACC Chairman Bazooka Rhadebe, there has been an unbelievable global groundswell of support given in aid of the ACC and SWC’s mission to stop the extractive, cultural and environmentally destructive Australian mining company MRC from destroying the ancestral home of the Amadiba on the Wild Coast of South Africa.
To date, a total of 193 local and international Civil Society organisations and over 8000 individuals have added their names to our cause.
Strenth in unity provides encouragement
In unity lies strength, and we are incredibly heartened that with the support and encouragement of all our new friends from around the world, the road upon which we walk will be that much lighter.
The ACC and SWC would like to personally thank each and every one of the following organisations for raising their voices in support of our cause.
We would also like to extend an invitation to all others who would like to join us in our struggle to do here.
Furthermore, the response to our fundraising drive has also been incredible, however in order to realise our objective of stopping the mining, we would like to appeal to all for your continued financial support to our cause. Financial support, however small, can be done here.
